“Awakened Dreams” is a collection of three musical compositions based upon and inspired by the works of Franz Kafka.

The first piece, “Awakened Dreams,” takes its inspiration from the Kafka short story “A Country Doctor.” The second piece, “Pendulate,'' found inspiration from the Kafka short story “In the Penal Colony.” The third and final piece, “This too shall pass,” was inspired by the Kafka short story “A Hunger Artist.”
